The role
The Brand Marketing & IMC Manager will be a leader responsible for driving multi-channel integrated campaigns for Janus across all consumer touchpoints. With 7+ years of experience in brand marketing and integrated communications, you will manage the development and execution of fully integrated marketing campaigns, unifying owned, earned and paid channels to build brand awareness, desirability and relevance in a competitive marketplace.
In this role, you will lead the end-to-end IMC workflow from strategy through to post-campaign analysis, own the Global Consumer Calendar, and serve as the cross-functional bridge between Marketing, Product and Commercial teams to bring Janus's seasonal stories to life.
What you'll do
Integrated Marketing & Campaign Leadership
- Design and lead the Janus IMC process: establishing meeting cadence, rules of engagement, and documentation standards that align all marketing functions.
- Develop and own the Global Consumer Calendar (GCC) in collaboration with Brand Creative and GTM teams, serving as the sole calendar owner within the Marketing team.
- Lead the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, email, content, events and traditional channels.
- Bring key marketing initiatives to life: including Seasonal Brand Campaigns, Hero Product Launches and Brand Partnerships, orchestrating cross-functional teams from briefing to delivery.
- Coordinate with external agencies and vendors to ensure flawless campaign execution on time and within budget.
Brand Messaging & Consumer Insights
- Define and continuously refine messaging frameworks that are rooted in brand vision and resonate across the full consumer journey and touchpoints.
- Drive consumer insights programmes and develop journey maps that inform seasonal strategies and campaign development.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends, identifying opportunities to sharpen Janus's positioning and differentiation.
- Stay current with emerging marketing trends, tools and best practices, and champion their adoption where relevant.
Performance & Optimisation
- Establish clear KPIs for all campaigns and regularly analyse performance metrics to surface actionable insights.
- Translate data into optimisation recommendations and feed learnings back into future campaign planning cycles.
- Develop and maintain a content calendar that supports all marketing initiatives and ensures consistent brand storytelling across channels.
Who you are
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in brand marketing, integrated marketing communications or a related field, ideally within the outdoor, sports, lifestyle or premium consumer goods sectors.
- Experience working in and understanding of the Norwegian/Nordic ourdoor market.
- Proven track record of leading and delivering multi-channel integrated campaigns from strategy through execution.
- Experience managing cross-functional and cross-regional teams and working closely with senior leadership.
- Background working with or managing external creative and media agencies.
- Experience in a global or internationally operating organisation is strongly preferred.

- Deep understanding of integrated marketing channels — digital, social, content, PR, paid media, events and retail.
- Strong strategic thinking combined with the ability to translate strategy into operational plans and executional detail.
- Excellent messaging and storytelling skills with a sharp brand instinct.
- Highly analytical — comfortable working with campaign performance data and drawing clear, commercial insights.
- Outstanding project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong communicator and collaborator, with the ability to influence across all levels of an organisation.
- Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms (CRM, CMS, analytics dashboards, project management tools).
- Fluent in English, Norwegian is a plus.
